28 a group dedicated to non-violence sposnsors AN EVENING OF INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY WITH RAWA -- the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan, at 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time begins that day), Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South (between Thompson and Sullivan Streets), Manhattan. Raccoon is, also, endorsing a group dedicated to non-violence peace vigils. Weekly vigils are held in front of the New York Public Library, 5th Avenue and 41st. Wednesdays from 5.30-6.30

Invite 5 New Raccoon Space opening and the 20th anniversary of the women peace campus in Great Britain - Greenham Common. Sanja Ljubicic delivered a heartening report from the conference of a group dedicated to non-violence in Novi Sad. On the same day a group dedicated to non-violence started the international action to end the violence in Macedonia. The photography exhibition by Stephanie Damoff was open until September 28. MS. DAMOFF is a photographer/philosophy student/editor/Woman in Black. Her exhibition features recent black and white photographs from the Balkans.
