Tina drops Tina Basich During the last week of February, Tina Basich, a professional snowboarder from the U.S. and the founder of the non-profit organization Boarding for Breast Cancer, visited both snowboard camps. Tina talked and rode with our camp participants and showed them frontside 180-s. She brought Erin Comstock, Hana Beaman (winner of 2006 Burton US-Open), and Chanelle Sladics to Sarajevo. The special on Bosnia - Deep in the Balkans - appeared in April 2007 issue of Transworld Snowboarding magazine, Tina judged the T-Mobile Snowboard Cup on Sljeme. Tina's visit was taped for her TV girls action sports show GKA. Tina was in the region from February 21 until March 3, 2006.
