April 8th to April 29th, 2005

Ivan StojakovicPresenting four artists:
Milan Bosnic, Tanja Dabo, Mihael Milunovic and Ivan Stojakovic will be showing their work realized in a variety of media. The goal of this exhibition will be to present a brief survey of artists from former Yugoslavia, who are taking part in the international exhibition 'Closed Circuits', initially taking place in Vaults Hall of Duchess Ljubica residence, Belgrade, between January 17th and January 28th, 2005, initiated by Belgrade based curator Nikola Suica. 'The aim of this group exhibition is to explore in gallery interiors certain diversities of individual identities bred inside once common ground of South Slavic lands… These certain exploratory displacements in a group show are incisive arguments that account desires, sensuality, unexpected autonomies and a unique exploratory of unconscious powers.' - Nikola Suica about the 'From the Closed Circuit Files'. The exhibition at Raccoon will be accompanied with the catalogue, printed in Belgrade for the 'Closed Circuits' exhibition, featuring all exhibition artists.
