CCPN accepted into Citizens' Pact for SEE

After our representative met Cintha van den Hanenberg, the International Adviser in the General Secretariat of the Citizens' Pact for South-East Europe, in Timisoara, September 2001 (during the Regional NGO Fair, organised by CED), the CCPN applied for membership in this respected international organisation, which gathers regional NGOs into the common task of building peace and civil society in the region.

CCPN's application has now been approved. We hope to co-operate wholeheartedly with the CP office and the other partners!

New grant from Mennonite Central Committee

The Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), Geneva has continued its support of CCPN activity with a grant of 1.000 US$!

This support will allow us to develop our office and staff and continue our programs into the fall. We deeply thank the MCC for the understanding, confidence and willingness they showed by this continued support. Our special gratitude to Mr. Hansurlich Gerber, the MCC Europe Director!
