RACCOON AND WOMEN IN BLACK SUPPORT MILLION MOMS MARCH

Support the anti-gun protestWith their Women In Black banner, Raccoon, Inc. members joined the 500,000 strong anti-gun protest in Washington DC on May 14, 2000 - Million Moms March. Gun violence became a number one cause of death among the U.S. teenagers. Protest was joined by mothers of those kids, victims of gun violence, as well as by prominent anti-gun political figures like Sen. Brady, law-enforcement officers (not those from NYPD who themselves are guilty of gun-violence, though) and anti-gun activists. There were opposing protests organized by the gun lobby, but they did not receive much attention.
