Podgorica

Formerly Titograd (The City of Tito), it returned to its historical name ("under the mountain") once Tito's Yugoslavia was forever gone. Podgorica is capital of Monte Negro, home of Montenegrins, Serbs, Muslim Slavs, Muslim and Christian Albanian. A small state, the size of Rhode Island, with long sand beaches, high mountains, the place with largest rainfall in Europe and the second largest canyon in the world (river Tara). But who knows, it might be the next Bosnia.
