Mrkonjic Grad and Sanski Most are parts of Serbian held Bosnia that Croatian forces took in the summer 1995 Croatian-Bosnian offensive, and that Croatian president Franjo Tudjman subsequently returned to Serbs complying with the Dayton peace agreement. Upon agreement on Gorazde corridor and Sarajevo Bosnian-Croat federation held more than 51% of Bosnia and Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic insisted that Serbs get something back, to satisfy the original territorial agreement (51:49). President Clinton then called Tudjman and asked him to "show leadership" in surrendering some territory.
