Joe Tripician in Raccoon Space Jakov Sedlar, Cultural Attache of the Republic Croatia in the US, approached Joe Tripician in 1997, after learning from their common physician that Joe was a writer, and asked him to ghost-write - Sedlar used to claim that Christopher Anderson would sign the book as a writer - the biography of then Croatia's president, Franjo Tudjman. Joe was handsomely paid for his services and he produced a 353 single-spaced pages long book under the title In Tito's Shadow. But the book was never published. Croatian government eventually instructed the publisher (Random House, allegedly) not to print the book, after reading Joe's manuscript and deciding that the president was not presented in favorable light and desirable fashion. Here are some excerpts from the manuscript, a top secret memo that resulted in the manuscript rejection and Joe's theatrical re-enaction of the events at the Raccoon Space on January 16, 2002 - titled Balkanized at Sunrise. Hear Joe navigate between toadying government aides, lying politicians, harassed dissident journalists, and Croatian and Bosnian women looking for a quick visa in this fascinating political, moral, and sexual exposé.

everything is on the recordJoe Tripician is the president of digital media company iStream TV. He is also the author of "The Official Alien Abductee's Handbook" (Andrews and McMeel $7.95) - a book about UFOs with a sense of humor. It's the perfect antidote to "Making Contact." Any book with a parody song called "Abductee in the U.S.A.," to the tune of the Sex Pistols' classic "Anarchy in the U.K." scores big points.
